Open-Air Baths Reached by Cable Car
The free-flowing open-air baths are fed directly by an abundant natural hot spring. The hotel cable car conveys guests to the baths, which jut out into the river at the bottom of the gorge.
Open-Air Bath Kiyora no Yu
The smooth, silky water warms the body and cloaks your skin in fine bubbles.
Enjoy a luxurious soak that invites you

Keikoku no Yu
The chirping of birds
echoes from the forest,
as the lush green trees
and jade-colored river
soothe your senses.
Seseragi no Yu

in the pure spring water
and watch the light
play gently on its
surface as you soak
your cares away.
Keikoku no Yu and Seseragi no Yu are separate communal open-air baths, one for men, one for women. The gender using the baths is switched daily so that guests can enjoy each one.

- Hours:
- Overnight Guests: 7:00am to 9:00pm
*Please note that in winter (Jan 4 - end of Feb) the open-air baths close at 7:00pm.
Day Visitors: 7:00am to 5:00 pm
*Please note the last admission is at 4:00pm.
- Fee:
- Includes cable car, open-air baths and communal bath with a panoramic view (Sora no Yu).
Overnight guests: Free
Day Visitors: 1,900 yen, Age 6 & under: 1,000 yen
*Please note that every Wednesday the large bath is closed for cleaning and only the open-air baths are open.

Yamagiri no Yu
Wrap yourself in the sounds of nature as you soak in the water gushing from the natural hot spring.
Treat yourself to the luxury of your own private open-air bath.

We do not accept reservations from day visitors in advance.
Day visitors may reserve the bath if it is available once they have arrived at the hotel. Thank you in advance for your understanding.
